TrainingLogs ("TrainingLogs", "we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our websites, applications, and services that link to this policy (collectively, the "Services").

1. What Personal Data we collect

“Personal Data” means information that is linked or reasonably linkable to an identified or identifiable individual. We collect the following categories depending on how you use the Services:

  • Account and identity data: name, email address, password, username.
  • Profile and training data: age, height, weight, sport discipline, training plans, workouts, events, goals, notes, equipment usage, performance metrics (e.g., power, pace, cadence, heart rate), functional threshold preferences, and other fitness information you choose to log. Some of this may constitute health data in certain jurisdictions.
  • Connected apps and devices: if you connect third-party apps or devices (e.g., Garmin, Apple Health, Zwift), we receive information such as activity files and device metadata as authorized by you.
  • Transactional data: purchases of coaching or plans, subscription status, billing address (processed by our payment provider).
  • Support and communications: messages you send to us, survey responses, and preferences.
  • Usage and device data: pages and features used, clicks, time on page, approximate location (from IP), browser type and version, language, operating system, device type, and similar technical data collected via cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies.

You may decline to provide certain data, but this may limit core functionality.

2. How we use Personal Data

  • Provide the Services: create and maintain accounts, enable workouts, plans, analytics, syncing, and sharing with teammates as you direct.
  • Improve and develop: analyze usage, fix bugs, enhance features, conduct research, and build new capabilities.
  • Communicate with you: service messages, security alerts, support responses, product updates and educational content. You can opt out of non-essential emails.
  • Security and integrity: detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
  • Compliance: meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

3. How we share Personal Data

  • Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, analytics, error monitoring, communications, customer support, and payment processing under appropriate contracts.
  • Integrations and API partners: when you connect third-party apps/devices, we share and receive data as you authorize to enable syncing and features.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data: we may share reports that do not identify you.

We do not sell your Personal Data. We do not share your Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by certain U.S. state privacy laws.

  • Access and obtain a copy of your Personal Data;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data;
  • Delete Personal Data;
  • Port Personal Data to another service;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including for marketing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

5. Data retention

We keep Personal Data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, for the period required by law, or as needed to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your Personal Data rights”).

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-party links and content

The Services may link to third-party sites or include third-party integrations. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies for more information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (e.g., by posting on the Services or sending you a notification). The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent changes.
